How to Use Your
Veluna Thera Mask™

Five steps to your first session — plus everything you need to know about daily care, settings, and what to do if anything feels off.

Read This First

Three things that catch most people off-guard. If you read nothing else, read this.

The mist is warm, not hot.

Veluna Thera Mask™ is preset to around 40–42°C — the safe range for the delicate area around your eyes. The warmth is intentionally gentle and may take 10–15 seconds to build. If you’re expecting boiling-style steam, you might think it’s broken. It isn’t — that gentle warmth is the therapeutic range.

It stops after 10 minutes — that’s normal.

Each session is 10 minutes long. The device shuts off automatically when it’s done. To run another session, just press the power button again. A full charge gives you multiple sessions before it needs recharging.

Use clean drinking water.

Fill the tank with clean drinking water (tap or filtered). Do not add saline, eye drops, essential oils, or any other additive — the tank is designed for water only, and additives can damage the atomizer or irritate your eyes.

How to Use It

Five steps. About two minutes from box to first session.

1

Fill the water tank

Open the soft rubber stopper at the top of the device. Add clean drinking water (tap or filtered) until the tank is full — don’t overfill — then press the stopper firmly back into place.

Use water only. Do not use saline, eye drops, oils, or other additives.

2

Power on

Press and hold the left button (power) for about 1.5 seconds. The device beeps and starts in pulsed mist mode (about 1 second on, 2 seconds off).

Press once more for continuous mist. Press again to pause. Press and hold again to turn the device off.

3

Set the heat

Press the right button (heat) once for Level 1 — gentle warmth (around 40°C). Press again for Level 2 — the warmest setting (around 42°C). Press a third time to turn the heat off and cycle through.

Give it 10–15 seconds for the warmth to build. If it feels mild, that’s by design — see Read This First above.

4

Put it on

Adjust the elastic strap so the mask sits snug but comfortable. Place it over both eyes and close them.

A snug fit matters. If the mask sits loose, the warm mist escapes before it reaches your eyes.

5

Relax for 10 minutes

Lie back, breathe slowly, and let the warm mist do its work. The device shuts off automatically when the session ends.

To run another session, press the power button again. Use it once or twice a day for best results.

Care & Cleaning

Looking after your device keeps the mist consistent and your sessions hygienic.

After Every Session
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Wipe the outside of the device with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Store it dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Every 1–2 Sessions
  • Detach the soft silicone face seal from inside the mask.
  • Rinse the silicone with warm water, shake it out, and air-dry it fully.
  • Reattach it only when completely dry.
Important
  • Never submerge the main device in water. Only the silicone face seal is washable.
  • Don’t use detergent, alcohol, or harsh cleaners on the device body.
  • If the mist gets weaker over time, see the mist-refresh steps in Troubleshooting below.

Troubleshooting

Most issues are simple fixes.

Why does the mist feel cold or only mildly warm?

This is almost always expected. Veluna Thera Mask™ is designed to deliver gentle warm mist (around 40–42°C), not hot steam. A few things to try:

  • Switch to Level 2 — the warmest setting.
  • Allow 10–15 seconds for the warmth to build.
  • Check the fit — if the mask sits loose, warmth escapes before reaching your eyes. Adjust the strap so it sits snug.
  • Make sure the device is fully charged.

If, after a full charge on Level 2, the mask still doesn’t warm up at all within 30–60 seconds, email us at [support@yourdomain.com] and we’ll arrange a replacement.

It stops after 10 minutes. Is something wrong?

No. Each session is intentionally 10 minutes. To run another session, just press the power button again.

The mist is weak, or there’s no visible mist at all.

The atomizer can develop a thin mineral film over time. Refresh it like this:

  1. Add 4–5 drops of white vinegar to the water tank.
  2. Run the device for about 2 minutes.
  3. Empty the tank, refill with clean water, and run for another minute.
  4. Empty the tank again. The mist should return to normal.

Repeat once more if needed. If the mist still doesn’t return, contact us at [support@yourdomain.com].

The device won’t turn on.

Connect the included USB-C cable, charge for at least 30 minutes, then try again. Charging takes around 1–2 hours from empty to full.

If it still won’t turn on after charging, email us at [support@yourdomain.com].
